![]() ![]() If you decide to stay in Iron Age forever, don't expect to be able to put every single event buildings in your city. ![]() Your ability to get new expansions is very limited. So, you are artificially imposing some pretty severe restictions on you. ![]() Now, are you advancing on the continent map or through the technology tree? Not at all. How do you get more space in this game? By advancing through ages, getting expansions with research and conquering sectors on the continent. The event building isn't an upgrade for you? Don't put it up. You won a great building in an event, but don't have the space for it? Sell some crappy buildings to make space. You always need to think about which buildings to keep in your city and which to remove. I mean, even at the last age, space age mars, you can't buy all the expansions in the city, even with diamonds. The main challenge of this game is to make most out of your limited city space. The design and main challenge of the game. Sure, you could save it for later ages when you expand your city but by then there are bound to be even better properties. Add in the odd shapes (7x3) station and train and cars (3x2 each) that must be motivated and connected (in a parallel line) to provide bonuses and it seems pretty worthless for someone in a space-constrained IA city who is trying to maximize every block of space. When summing up all the rewards, they seem anemic compared to the LV9 Shinto Shrine (3x4) or even the LV9 Asylum (5x5). The primary prize of the 2019 Winter Event is a 7x3 train+station (upgradable to LV9) that can be combined with additional 3x2 cars (diner, etcetera) that provide additional daily rewards. In other words, will be here a long time. My goal is to fight through GE4, then delete my BA goods production properties while building the holy trinity to LV10+ (Zeus, CoA, CdM) and then possibly adding Traz, Inno, and Arc before moving on. ![]()
